Our mission is to put respectable values into action in a youth sports environment that strives to emphasize ethics as much as winning. Sports provide teachable life lessons in Respect, Leadership, Courage, Integrity, Compassion and Commitment.
Our principles:
Respect– A PowerHouse player respects their Parents, Family, Coaches, Teammates and others. They understand that respect, above all else, makes them a better person.
Leadership – A PowerHouse Player is a leader, and we seek to lead when needed. We respect each other, our coaches, our parents, our teachers, and act with humility. We dedicate ourselves to the success of those we lead.
Courage – We exemplify courage. We have the courage to make the tough decision over the popular decision, to do the right thing and to protect those that need us on and off the field.
Integrity – Our words and actions are honest and committed to the truth. Our Yes is Yes, and our No is No. We understand that to act without integrity reflects on ourselves, our team, and our parents.
Compassion – Our hearts are open to the needs of others. We do not overlook pain and suffering; we seek to mend it.
Commitment – We understand the value of commitment and know it fuels success. We are disciples of determination in every battle we face. We will never quit what we are committed to.
